Hopebrook Farm

The customer was adding a large Oak framed extension to their existing farm house which dates back to 1746 and was constructed from Local stone.

The plan was to enlarge the existing Kitchen and create a large study. They also wanted to add a walk-in Pantry, Cloakroom and Bootroom within the existing building.

After a number of design meetings the customer chose Madison style doors in both Willow Green and Light Oak, with colour matched bespoke cabinets. Worktops in Lightning Grey stone and also solid Oak for the bespoke breakfast bar and seating in both the Cloakroom and Bootroom.

Working within a historic property always brings surprises. This project presented numerous design and installation challenges, from severely uneven walls that were neither upright nor square, to significant discrepancies between the builder’s original plans and the actual structure.

To maximize the tight spaces, we engineered a high volume of bespoke cabinetry tailored specifically to the room's unique geometry. 

While technically demanding, navigating these complexities made the final handover an exciting and deeply rewarding

transformation.
